F.E.N.G. Men’s Ministry exists to reach the men of this world, bring them to Christ and grow them into the disciples they are called to be. We are diverse and spread abroad. We are in towns, cities, states and countries around the world and stay connected via social media but fellowship face to face, knee to knee is our priority. We are intentional with investing into the men God has called. We build up husbands, fathers, brothers, uncles and son’s to be SENT by God to carry out the Great Commission. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,” –Matthew 28:19.
Men are called to fellowship together. With the changes in society over the last 15 years and especially in 2020 we cannot settle for interaction over the phone, internet or apps. We need to be bold and be willing to take the necessary precautions but meet together in person. We were created for human interactions with our brothers in Christ. Fellowship is vital to our ministry and should be sought after before all other means of communication. We grow and learn from each other in person. We are called to pray for the sick and heal the blind, deaf and crippled. To LAY HANDS on people that need healing and move in miracles, signs and wonders. “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” -John 14:12.
Fellowship should include the study of Scripture, book studies and testimonies. It also means doing life together. That means building relationships with other men and getting together outside of normal sanctioned events. Make a friend and go fishing, hunting, play football or golf or get the families together for a BBQ or bonfire. When we surround ourselves with Godly people and Godly men we are continuing in the book of Acts. “Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”- Proverbs 27:17.
We equip each other by always seeking Holy Spirit first. We equip one another by sharing our experiences, sharing our knowledge of the Word, sharing our knowledge of life and asking questions to help men grow. We equip one another by interacting with each other during our groups. A Men’s Ministry is only as good as the men in it. When we meet together and read our Bibles and share our testimonies and seek the knowledge of the Lord, the outcome is always power. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” -Matthew 6:33.
This is a big confusing world and we have men of every ethnicity, age, background, denomination, career and geographical location trying to navigate it. We will teach each other how to lean on the Word of God, Holy Spirit and each other to find our way. We are the light of the world and where the light is, the darkness flees. “For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.” Ephesians 5:8. We learn from each-others experiences, struggles and successes. Together we can successfully navigate the fallen world and be different from the rest because we are the new normal.
When we spend time fellowshipping, equipping and learning to navigate life we grow as men. We grow into the men that God called us to be. We were broken, sinful, lustful, angry and prideful but together and with the sanctification from the Lord, we are a new creation. We are men in God’s ranks, gaining souls to add to His Kingdom. We will grow to be what God has called us to be. Like the Apostles in the Bible we will be used for great things and lead God centered households. We will grow and break generational curses and grow deep roots in good soil.
One of the unique components of our ministry is the expansion. Many of us are military men and we are utilizing our military careers to spread our ministry and the Good News all over the world. This is where the F.E.N.G. Men’s Ministry was birthed and it will remain a staple in how far we reach. We are also called to be the light in a dark military as we change the atmosphere of our military cities in which we live and gather. To do this we need to build up leaders.
The groups cannot grow and navigate if they don’t have a leader to facilitate small groups. So we are always looking for the called. Not with our worldly expectations of a leader but through prayer and petition, God will show us the leaders that are called to His purpose. We will grow them and equip them to lead alongside of us or to create a small group of their own wherever God calls them to. We are missionaries on a mission to grow the men of the world where God sends us. “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” and I said, “Here am I. Send me!”” - Isaiah 6:8.
Our goal is to have multiple men that are capable to lead small groups per location and in multiple locations around the world. Eventually there will be a F.E.N.G. Men’s Ministry in every city in the world and every man will be called to God’s purpose. We are called to be disciples and to create disciples. It starts here.
